Responsibilities Practicing Good Manufacturing Practice. Responsible for using Lock Out/Tag Out when machinery is being set up, serviced or cleaned. Only authorized employees can remove machine guards and Locks and Tags. The Operator needs to be properly trained in the Standard Operating Procedures in accordance with Mohawks Safety Rules and Regulations to perform this Operation. The Operator must be aware of all the potential hazards of the job. It is important that the Operator were Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. Filling up Temperature Calibration Log Filling up Pre-Shift Rail Switch / ICE Checks Fillip up CCP Calibration Form Filling up HCCP Bacon Internal Product Temperature CC1B Filling up Sawdust Usage Form Checking probes for calibration. Pumped Smokehouse. Rail Scale Checks. Weighing the trees with bellies. Taking bellies into the and out of the oven. Transferring bellies into the Blast Freezer. Transferring bellies into the Tempering Cooler. Feeding the Smoke Generator with wood chips. Continuous flow of production. Communicating with the Lead Operator for any problems encountered. Communicating with leadership of any changes that may have occurred. Assist Lead Operator for changing film roll. Notifying supervisors or maintenance of any safety or machine issues. Promoting the cleanliness of area. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
