THE ADVENTURE

The Social Media Coop will focus on creating and maintaining a strong digital presence for the company, which includes content development and execution for multiple branded social platforms.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN & DO

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain content calendar and optimal posting cadence
• Write engaging copy to accompany image and video social content
• Facilitate online conversations and native platform discussions
• Assist in maintaining influencer content and activities
• Audit channels and make recommendations to improve brand social presence
• Research audience preferences and discover upcoming trends
• Stay current with updates and changes in social platforms
• Suggest new opportunities for content and engagement
• Assist with dashboard creation and ongoing analytics activities

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• Students only. Must be a current full-time student enrolled in a bachelor's degree program; pursuing a marketing or business-related degree preferred.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 required
• This is a 12-month intern/coop assignment located in Louisville, KY; student will have to commute daily or as scheduled.
• Experience in a digital or social media role
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Photo editing capabilities
• Understanding of digital and social media platforms and tools
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced multi-functional team environment
• Must be willing to work at least 20 hrs/week; ability to work flexible hours ranging from 20-40/week is ideal

• Detail oriented with ability to prioritize tasks

Most positions are located in Louisville, KY (our Corporate HQ). Assignments are also available in Camden, SC; Decatur, AL; LaFayette, GA; Selmer, TN. Housing and relocation assistance is available for eligible students.
