  • Responsibilities

     ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Maintains clean and orderly condition in work areas assigned
    • Puts sweepings and rubbish in proper receptacles and removes them to designated locations
    • Delivers trash to compactor
    • Collects cardboard and may load it into compactor or baler
    • Uses PIT equipment as needed
    • Performs special clean-up jobs when necessary
    • Cleans front office and front entrance including door glass and wastecans
    • Cleans restrooms in front office and manufacturing areas
    • Stocks paper supplies and soap in restrooms when necessary
    • Vacuums floors and dumps wastecans in offices daily
    • Picks up cardboard and dumps trash cans as necessary
    • Vacuums in main aisle ways twice daily
    • Responsible for disposal of scrap
    • Adheres to all safety policies
    • Performs predictive/preventative maintenance as necessary
    • Performs job in accordance with regulatory requirements
    • Maintains an organized and clean working environment
    • Complete all required training applicable to assigned position
    • Exhibit positivity, flexibility, creativity, and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High School graduate or equivalent
    • Able to understand and follow oral and written instructions
    • Must be licensed to operate PIT equipment
    • Must have thorough understanding of recycle policies and procedures
    • Must have thorough understanding of quality systems and their relationship to job performance including ISO Overview, corrective/preventative actions and work instructions
    • Must have physical ability and manual dexterity necessary to perform the duties pertaining to job
    • Must complete all applicable training specified in Training Checklist Document #TC107

    Able to apply excellent functional computer knowledge in utilizing Microsoft Windows, MAC, or other technical tools in completing assignments.  Able to apply expertise in all the tools or applications used to complete work assignments.  Able to mentor junior level team members in the use of tools and/or systems in the position.

    Must be able to modify communication style both formal and informal to match the appropriate level of the audience targeted.  Requires strong understanding of the impact of a message on the organization or customer. Able to write with the clarity and precision necessary for the work being performed.
