    Our unique combination of highly trained staff, coupled with award winning technology, allows HBCS to provide superior customer service and accounts receivables management solutions in partnership with hospitals throughout the country.  Enhance your career in the growing healthcare industry by joining our team as a TEAM LEAD, where you will provide expertise and technical resource support to team members to investigate and analyze payment liability and status for assigned hospital accounts receivable balances, negotiate payment arrangements, and secure payment on behalf of client hospitals.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Identify and/or locate patient, insurance carrier or third party responsible for payment and respond to inbound calls regarding account status.
    • Identify account discrepancies and issues that hinder claim payment and initiate steps to resolve them.
    • Identify, document, and report payor trends and provide support to team members and management regarding specific payor issues
    • Serve as a technical resource to team members to resolve payor, claim or systems issues in order to ensure continuity of collection efforts
    • Post and update account data to HBCS and client hospital systems to ensure accuracy

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Proven results in A/R inventory management and 3 to 5 years experience in a collections or call center function
    • Strong problem solving skills and ability to simultaneously interact with patient while updating appropriate systems
    • Strong written and verbal communications skills
    • Strong working knowledge of multiple internal HBCS and hospital systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
    • Crystal reporting and healthcare background is helpful.
    • High school diploma or equivalent
