SUMMARY:
The Manager, National Corporate Accounts is responsible for implementing the business strategy relative to specific long-term care chains, national account and large regional buying groups, group purchasing organizations, major dealers and distributors within their area of responsibility. The Manager, National Corporate Accounts must work effectively across all commercial functions within the Business Unit. The position supports company-wide efforts to increase sales volume and profit margin from the assigned accounts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Achieve targeted sales growth for corporate accounts at a rate and profit margin consistent with the strategic business plan.
- Analyze records of past and present sales, trends and costs and developing forecasts for each area of responsibility.
- Develop and implement business plans for accounts.
- Sell to new and perspective customers within Long-Term Care.
- Cultivate customer relationships at the C-suite level and develop strategies and tactics to maximize growth across business.
- Work closely with the sales management team to identify and close targets to achieve AOP.
- Develop relationships with industry executives and business partners to better leverage Invacare and gain market share.
- Perform additional responsibilities as requested or required.
- Ability to independently operate a motor vehicle.
- Complete all required training applicable to assigned position.
- Exhibit positivity, flexibility, creativity, and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business or Marketing required
- Minimum 10 years of related experience.
- Proven negotiations sales ability with high-level accounts.
- Demonstrated strategic planning/strategic selling skills.
- Demonstrated computer skills.
- Entrepreneurial attitude, leadership ability and ability to be a team player on all levels.
- Ability to comprehend and make valid contributions to developing a business plan, including sales and marketing strategies.
- Proven ability to develop and accomplish sales and budgeted forecasts.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- 50%+ travel required.
