The Human Resources Intern will assist with administrative functions of the department in order to help the team remain organized and in compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws. This position will work from our corporate office and communicate with other internal departments as well as staff in our locations across the country.
Assist with onboarding activities and follow up on required documentation
Assist with processing personnel record changes, including terminations, direct deposits, tax withholdings, addresses, etc.
Ship packages & envelopes and determine least expensive courier option
Assist with Applicant Tracking System (ATS) maintenance and organization including app rejection
Complete employment and wage verifications – both verbal and written
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary
Familiarity with administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, other office procedures and terminology
Basic knowledge of Office 365 applications
Ability to use English language and grammar in order to convey information effectively in written and verbal communication
High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
Actively seeking bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
