About the role
As a part of the Marketing Operations team, this role is responsible for operational success across the content capture stage and post-production workflows, ensuring that all assets are fed to our internal digital asset management (DAM) system. This cross-functional role is responsible for implementing and managing the system processes needed to deliver and traffic digital assets such as photography, videos, audio, and other content, to key stakeholders.
The Marketing Systems Manager at Spanx will ensure all systems that support content capture and delivery to DAM are accurately standardized, maintained, and scaled to current business needs. This includes maintaining and managing Workfront integration and Creative Force platforms. As a member of the Marketing Operations team, you will play an integral role in further achieving, maintaining, and surpassing the hyper-growth journey that is Spanx.
This role can be fully remote or based in our Atlanta headquarters and reports to our Senior Manager, Marketing & Creative Operations.

- Digital Asset Management System
- Manage the day-to-day efficiencies for file naming and storage practices for the usage of our internal digital library management platforms
- Partner with production and creative partners to ensure all assets are properly ingested into the DAM and final selects are passed on to retouching for post-production workflow
- Manage quality control for all file naming and metadata to assure accuracy and consistency across asset categories
- Maintain organization of incoming assets and ensure ingested assets follow existing file storage standards and folder structure
- Serve as the liaison between the retouching team and the on-set team for facilitating final selects and missing images (if applicable)
- Act as a DAM ambassador to drive adoption and best practices
- Communicate with DAM provider and internal IT department to optimize support & functionality
- Stay current on evolving technologies to shape recommendations for asset distribution and system capabilities
- Maintain ongoing digital asset lifecycle maintenance such as organization, archiving, and asset expiration
- Find, suggest, and implement efficiencies and improvements in workflows and processes
- Define KPIs and track download activities to feed reporting materials to support continued investment in DAM system
- Develop training materials for our internal partners; onboard new users to the DAM system and assist with questions
- Product Owner of Bynder - handle the vendor relationship between Spanx and DAM provider, contract approvals, IT support, and troubleshooting
- Define and communicate the strategy, vision, and minimum viable product (MVP) to all levels of the organization, utilizing customized dashboards and delivery team roadmaps as needed
- Plan and prioritize a backlog and development for the product
- Provide ongoing IT support with Bynder
- Survey users for ongoing customer experience
- Produce reporting as needed
- Creative Force (Production Tracking Software)
- Own the implementation of this new tool
- Create and standardize internal support documentation
- Onboard and train new team members
- Photoshoots
- Offer and implement additional creative solutions within technical support to internal teams on photography production and studio best practices
- Provide governance and documentation
- Ex: Studio Support Guides and Inventory Management
- Ex: Contractor Onboarding documents
- Conduct technical evaluation of potential talent
- Support/consult studio on IT and Security requirements for further infrastructure build outs
- Ex: sFTP vs. WeTransfer usage
- Workfront
- Identify potential connections to internal technology stack
- Provide ongoing IT support with Adobe
- Admin level support to project managers, new and legacy
- Develop high-level scoping of net new project workflows
- Create project/asset journey mapping
- Document product and support team member onboarding
- Keep close contact with customers during the onboarding phase
- Identify and document data in/data out for high-level data requirements
- Survey users for ongoing customer experience
- Produce reporting as needed
