    Job Description

    • Lead and manage the supply chain logistics team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure high performance and engagement
    • Develop long range logistics strategies to support the growth of the organization in a cost-effective manner while improving service and reliability
    • Utilize advanced data analytics to analyze key logistics metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable insights
    • Partner and align with Production, Sales and DTC leaders on the plan and physical movement of goods out of origin into the respective regions
    • Design and enable alternative methods of logistics flow (DC Bypass, Port of Entry, etc.) that drives lead time and / or cost advantages
    • Identify, communicate, and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and relevant metrics, champion a data and analytics culture across team
    • Establish global classification guidance across all brands and regions; align with the Spanx General Counsel in support of customs decisions impacting the brand
    • Collaborate with Finance to manage logistics budget, cost control, and financial forecasting, while identifying opportunities for cost reduction and value creation
    • Consistent, timely and transparent communication of status, updates, issues, and resolution with the global stakeholders supported by global logistics
    • Own relationship with global warehouse 3PL partners to foster environment of continuous improvement, reduced costs, and efficiency
    • Evaluate and optimize warehouse footprint to support business growth; upgrade systems and facilities as the business scales
    • Effectively interface with other leaders and cross-functional partners to deliver operating processes that support business needs
    • Proactively develop processes, assess systems, and procedures to improve operational performance; analyze performance and programs success
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    We require…

    • 15+ years of relevant logistics, distribution, and/or operations experience is preferred
    • BS/BA degree in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field; MBA or MA/MS in supply chain is a plus
    • Experience in DTC, Apparel Retailer strongly preferred
    • A strong aptitude for working effectively in dynamic environments. This includes a proven ability to embrace new ideas and experiences, actively pursue learning opportunities, approach challenges with innovation and creativity, and contribute to and drive organizational change
    • Exceptional communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively persuade and influence others. A high level of confidence and ease in relating to others
    • Taking initiative, exercising personal leadership, providing direction, and taking responsibility
    • Proven focus on results, personal work goals, and objectives, coupled with a competitive drive for business and commitment to self-development and career advancement
