ABOUT THE ROLE
The Social Media Manager will oversee the creation, development, and execution of social media content for TikTok. This individual will own social channel content and publishing decisions for the platform, driving long-term strategy. The Social Media Manager will work closely with Creative, Brand Marketing, and PR to ensure that social content on TikTok is authentic, dynamic, and on or ahead of trend. This position requires a creative and proactive individual who has a strong aesthetic, is deadline-driven, and can work across multiple levels of approvals to plan and execute the agreed-upon social media strategy.
The Social Media Manager at Spanx supports in creating social media content, with a focus on, TikTok. As a member of the Brand Marketing Team you will play an integral role in further achieving, maintaining, and surpassing the hyper-growth journey that is Spanx.
This role can be based out of NYC or in our Atlanta headquarters and reports into the Chief Brand Officer.

- Work cross functionally and externally with creative agencies, influencers, and content creators
- Act as a thought partner and independently identify opportunity for process improvement effectively managing change
- Develop and dial into an overall brand social media vision and strategy that creates an engaged community across TikTok
- Research, ideate, and implement strategic ways to create social content
- Identify and document best performing / effective social content and use data to pivot social on an ongoing basis
- Manage TikTok postings and creation of thoughtful, authentic, and engaging content
- Define, manage, and execute Spanx's social vision to drive brand discovery and customer engagement via social media channels and creator partnerships
- In addition to creating best-in-class organic for our TikTok channel, you will work closely with our creative agency partner to manage a paid media budget that will amplify and boost specific pieces of content
- Identify, nurture, and implement big, bold ideas in Social that generate engagement
- Define ongoing objectives, craft goals, and identify KPIs for social media activity
- Develop and present strategy, learnings, and recommendations to senior leadership via meetings and document writing for all actions across the channel
- Provide thought leadership and guidance for social media best practices such as content publishing guidelines, KPI benchmarks, and channel growth strategies across our organization
- Solicit feedback and buy-in from internal and external partners
