Responsibilities The employee will be removing parts from an injection molding machine and will prepare them for packaging and labeling. Machine monitoring and quality inspection will also be included within the responsibilities of the position. In the case of absence, another trained Molding Technician will assume duties. The employee will also follow all EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) rules and procedures pertaining to this job as outlined in the training program. Inspecting, degating, grinding runners, removal of flash, cleaning, and the performing of finishing procedures. Maintaining your work area in a cleaned and organized fashion at all times. Report any inefficient or unsafe conditions to management upon discovery of the conditions. Perform all work using safety equipment as instructed while obeying all safety-rules and procedures. Must be able to work overtime as scheduled by management. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. Education and/or experience High school diploma and at least one year experience as a machine operator. Language skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, work instructions, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Must pass On the Job Training modules during training on first day. Mathematical skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ration, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning ability Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
