NOTE: THE SCHEDULE, FOR THIS POSITION, IS SECOND (2ND) SHIFT
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
This position will be responsible for the overall supervision and implementation of the location’s sanitation program. In this role, will also work closely with management to ensure timely resolution of issues, and compliance with company and statutory regulations.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Manage and oversee the location's sanitation crew and supplies.
- Implement and maintain Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP's), based on corporate guidelines and statutory regulations.
- Handle the management of, and employee training for Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), procedures and personnel safety.
- Coordinate with the Operations Manager and/or Maintenance Manager, to resolve Quality Assurance issues, and to oversee management of preventative maintenance programs.
- Communicate with chemical supplier and ensure proper chemical types and rates are used.
- Member of the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) team.
MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIRED:
- At least 2 years of college.
- 3 to 5 years previous work experience in a similar position.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Good communication skills.
PREFERRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL:
- Chemical knowledge.
- Bi-lingual: English and Spanish.
