As part of the Business Planning organization, you will leverage JDA Planning environment to provide a 24-month forecast. The forecasting process is closely tied to the operational performance of Stanley Black & Decker as well as driving and supporting key business decisions. Key customers and interfaces include: Product Marketing, Supply Planning, and Demand Planning counterparts. This requisition serves as a means to build a continued talent pool. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Direct Demand Planning efforts with SBU product team * Manage the use of shipment and demand information to develop trend analysis. * Utilize the JDA forecasting system to develop and maintain forecasting information. * Plan new product transitions. * Proactively maintain JDA forecast. * Lead or support continuous improvement projects to achieve 99% customer fill rates. Knowledge and Skills: * Experience in demand planning using forecast algorithms * Complete understanding of manufacturing lead times * Excellent analytical & communication skills * Knowledge of supply chain * Basic financial skills * Excellent organizational, planning, and project management skills * Ability to work across organizational boundaries and levels Qualifications: * Bachelors of Science in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related experience. * At least 2 - 5 years of forecasting/planning experience * Knowledge of JDA & SAP preferred * Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) Leadership Qualities: * Courage & Innovation Bravely innovate without boundaries.
