YOUR APPLICATION WILL STILL BE CONSIDERED. Trains in the operation of backhoes in cleaning out ditches to insure proper drainage. Operates tandem dump truck hauling materials to the jobsite. Operates self-propelled steel wheel roller or rubber tire roller during rocking or resurfacing to insure proper compaction of surface work. Operates front end loaders to load materials for maintenance work. Flags traffic during road repairs to control flow of traffic to protect workers, general public and equipment. Works during inclement weather, operating truck mounted plows and sand spreaders in snow and ice removal as necessary. Operates hand and power tools. Use chainsaw in removal of trees and tree limbs from right-of-way. Performs related duties as required. Minimum and Additional Requirements A 10th grade education and two and one-half (2.5) years of related trades experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations. A valid drivers license is required. Necessary Special Requirement: Requires attainment of a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within six (6) months of placement in the position.
