Harris Psychiatric Hospital in Anderson, South Carolina . Under general supervision plans for and provides nursing care for adult patients, ages 18 and above, with responsibility for assessment of nursing needs and the delegation of selected assignments for care to non- licensed nursing personnel. This employee is more knowledgeable in age- specific criteria and interventions appropriate for effective and therapeutic interaction with adult psychiatric patients including those who are deaf and have co-occurring disorders. This position require flexibility in your work hours to include weekends and holidays coverage. This job posting is intended to fill any vacant Registered Nurse II (Nurse III) position(s) within Harris Psychiatric Hospital. Minimum and Additional Requirements State Requirement: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and related nursing experience. DMH Requirements: A bachelor's degree in nursing and one (1) year experience; or a three (3) year diploma and one (1) year experience; or an associate degree in nursing and one (1) year clinical experience in psychiatric, geriatric or medical-surgical nursing, as appropriate to the mission of the employing facility. Must be licensed by the South Carolina State Board of Nursing (LLR). Note: If any Agency Requirements are listed above, applicants must also meet those requirements to be considered for the position.
