Aiken Technical College is recruiting Medical Assisting Adjunct Instructors. recruiting adjunct instructors for courses in the following areas: Industrial Maintenance Technology, Radiation Protection Technology, Engineering Graphics, Welding, Machine Tool Technology, Chemistry, Early Childhood Education, Nuclear Quality Assurance, HVAC, Paramedic, Radiological Technology, Medical Coding, English, College Skills, Electrocardiography, Phlebotomy, Patient Care Assisting (C.N.A.), Basic EMT, Surgical Technology, Spanish, Sociology, History, Criminal Justice, Electrical Line, Wireless Tower, Speech, Geography, Music, Psychology, Dental Assisting, Biology, Mathematics, Physics, Political Science, Religion, Philosophy, Art, APCA Dialysis Technician, APCA Hospital Unit Clerk and Theatre. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Instruction including hands on and theory, classroom management, and administrative tasks that may include reports, syllabus and lesson plan development. Prepare and/or maintain current course syllabi for course taught. Ensure that course is taught in accordance with the established syllabi. Recommend for approval adequate instructional materials for course. Recommend adequate laboratory facilities/equipment for assigned course. Supervision of students. Minimum and Additional Requirements Associate Degree in a healthcare related field and three (3) years of experience in a healthcare facility.
