Coastal Empire CMHC is an approved site of the National Health Service Corps (NHSC), which offers student loan repayment of up to $60,000 to employees of NHSC-approved sites. You must be a US citizen, you must be licensed to practice independently in the state where you are hired, and you must have unpaid government or commercial school loans. There is a two year service commitment required as well. Confirmation of qualifying for this loan repayment program is the responsibility of every applicant we cannot guarantee your qualification. JOB DUTIES: Primarily serves Pre-K through 8th grade students in a school setting. Provide direct clinical services to children, adolescents and their families in the Beaufort County clinic/school setting. Provides assessments and crisis management, as well as individual, group and family therapy as needed. Ensures documentation of all services provided following established standards. Provides consultation/education activities and case management on behalf of our consumers to community agencies as requested. Provides consultation and assists in coordination of hospital admissions and placement of children and adolescents. Participates in school related activities such as PTO's, classroom presentations , and other extra curricula-related activities in support of client (student)relations. Minimum and Additional Requirements If any agency requirements are listed below, applicants must also meet those requirements to be considered for the position. State Requirement : Bachelor's degree and professional experience in human services or social services program. Agency Requirement : Master's degree in a social science and 2 years of experience in a clinical counseling program. Preferred Qualifications Preferred Qualifications : Computer literacy a must.
