The Strategic Leadership Development Program offers you a robust and individualized development journey to provide accelerated career advancement while making the world a better place through Owens Corning products and people. This personalized program provides a structure for career progression anchored on the Product Management career path, yet offers individual participants the ability to customize experiences to accommodate specific career aspirations.

Within this comprehensive three-year program you’ll explore, support, and lead the most impactful growth initiatives for our global company. Experiences range from rotational assignments in a variety of roles, such as product management, strategy, brand, or commercial. Exposure and connection to senior and executive leadership set the program apart from the rest. You’ll be connected with a senior leader mentor that is deeply invested in your growth and development. This program will afford you the opportunity to showcase the foundational acumen you’ve established through your professional and academic background. Your exposure to innovative approaches to problem-solving and ideation (ecosystem analysis, human-centered design, etc.) will provide you with additional leadership capabilities.

Owens Corning is seeking outstanding recent MBA graduates, who are leaders with a strategic growth mindset with a desire to forward enterprise growth initiatives, commercial execution, innovation, and product management. This is a highly selective, premier development program for a small group of top talent. Upon entry, candidates will complete two 18-month rotations developing the requisite skills to move into a leadership role at the completion of the program. The Owens Corning Strategic Leadership Development Program is designed to create and accelerate the development of the future Vice Presidents, General Managers, and Executive Officers of the company throughout the enterprise.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Continually collect and analyze relevant data and perform analysis on Owens Corning markets and trends that OC can leverage for differentiation that ensures we win in the marketplace
• Identify strategic business initiatives and recommend actions to improve OC market position and financial performance, the resource investment required to execute, and the economic value created for OC & customers when successful
• Lead the creation of perspective on customers, segments, and markets by understanding what customer’s need and value, and how OC provides and captures value based on customer economics
• Develop recommendations and lead actions leveraging on established tools to optimize the performance of the product platform, including value propositions and pricing corridors
• Perform statistical, quantitative, and qualitative data analysis and translate insights into effective and executable intelligence reports 
• Leverage business insights of marketing and key customers to make recommendations/action plans
• Provide key input for business plan objectives and competitor strategies
• Broad cross-functional collaboration with commercial and Science & Technology teams
