ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Ensure effective surgical care to patients as related to Stryker Endoscopy equipment. Provides clinical surgical support by operating all Stryker equipment. Interacts with surgeons, patients, OR personnel, Central Processing, Sales Reps, O.R. Managements, and Hospital Administration, as well as Stryker employees and partners. Anticipates related device needs of the OR staff and surgeon during Endoscopic procedures. Is responsible for trouble-shooting and maintaining Stryker Endoscopy equipment. Works with surgeons, OR personnel, central processing, biomedical, patients and all other related personnel. Assists OR staff with Decontamination / Sterilization of Stryker MIS equipment. Maintains knowledge base of equipment and disposable products. Continuing education for new specialists and team members. Training of newly hired specialists not assigned to account. Brings focus and awareness to overall service efforts. Assists the sales representative in providing physicians and OR personnel with information on new products. Assists assistant regional manager / regional manager on specialists reviews, corrective actions. Maintains call schedule and rotation for Endoscopic Specialists. Reports account occurrences to assistant regional manager / regional manager on hospital incident reports concerning Technical Services or Stryker related products. Assists assistant regional manager / regional manager on account renewal contract. Maintains knowledge base of equipment and disposable products through Stryker education training programs. Provide physicians and OR personnel with information on new and current products. Must be able to accurately and honestly record and report data metrics related to all specific job functions on a regular basis. Accurately records and reports surgical procedure information for billing and invoice purposes. Adheres to hospital policies, standards and procedures. The ability to provide on-call services, as required, by the medical facility. Applicable for Specialist Team Leads working in Sterile Processing Department: IAHCSMM CRCST Certification within 6 months of start date and on time yearly renewal 1 year experience in services related field or with Stryker Technical Services.
