OVERVIEW: 

Gates is seeking a highly motivated Intern to for the Operations Finance Denver Team for the summer.  During the internship, you will have the opportunity to support the Operations Finance team as well as examples of potential projects below.

Reporting:

• Help to develop global transportation cost scorecards for use in reviewing actual performance and forecast accuracy
• Develop and implement an overhaul of our capital expenditure project system

Accounting/Finance skills:

• Review transactional data and make correcting entries on critical financial accounts
• SOX control testing and reviews

EDUCATION:  

• Undergraduate or Master’s degree with a graduation date after December 2018
• Business/Accounting major

QUALIFICATIONS:  

• Ability to work full-time in Denver June – August
• Strong desire to develop a professional career within Finance
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to simplify and communicate complex data
• Positive attitude and strong desire to learn
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
