    SUMMARY

    Development and execution of Recruiting and Candidate Capture Plans for all position levels within the organization (Professional and Technical positions) Targeted recruiting efforts at colleges and or other associations. Collect and maintain all statistical data necessary to meeting state & federal employment reporting. Performs other Human Resources related functions.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Includes the following, but other duties may be assigned as company’s needs dictate.

    Work with hiring managers on recruiting requirements.

    Create or update position descriptions

    Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position.

    Efficiently and effectively fill open positions.

    Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.

    Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.

    Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.

    Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.

    Post openings in newspaper advertisements, Internet Job Boards, with professional organizations, and in other position appropriate venues.

    Utilize the Internet for recruitment. --Post positions to appropriate Internet sources.. --Research new ways of using the Internet for recruitment. --Use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.

    Performs reference checks and coordinates background investigations and drug/alcohol screenings on applicants.

    Write and forward rejection letters.

    Assist in preparing and sending new employee orientation packages.

    Collect and maintain all applicant data necessary to meet state and federal reporting requirements.

    Perform other special projects as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

    One year certificate from college or technical school; or a minimum of  two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees or organization. Must be bilingual; English/Spanish.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.

    COMPUTER SKILLS

    Knowledge of Human Resource systems; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. Oracle software is a plus

    REASONING ABILITY

    Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
