Payroll/HR Specialist (Bilingual) SunTree Snack Foods 10 reviews - Phoenix, AZ 85031 Job Summary: SunTree Snack Foods is a growing Phoenix manufacturer producing branded and private label nut, seed, and dried fruit snacks, mixes, and specialty confections. The Payroll/ HR Assistant will be primarily responsible for the timely and accurate processing of payroll processing and assist the HR dept with various duties. Duties and responsibilities: * Process bi-weekly payroll * Serve as the primary contact for any questions regarding employee paychecks * Ensures proper calculation and payment of sick pay, vacation pay, retro pay, and Resolve both routine and non-routine payroll problems * Serve as a liaison to the Finance department and other departments and locations in the resolution of payroll issues and termination pay. * Ensure compliance with all garnishment and support orders including federal, state, and local tax withholding * Update attendance tracker and ensure attendance policy guidelines are met and executed * Review applications and schedule interviews for managers * Schedule/ facilitate new hire orientation * Data entry and filing * Maintain employee personnel files Qualifications * High School Diploma or equivalent required * Minimum of 3 years use of ADP Workforce Now experience * Functional knowledge of payroll processing and laws * Manufacturing experience preferred * Ability to work in fast-paced environment autonomously * Self-motivated, detail oriented, extremely organized, and ability to manage multiple projects * Excellent customer service skills in handing matters in a professional, courteous and friendly manner * Demonstrated discretion handling highly confidential information * Able to work well in a small team environment * Strong attention to detail * Must be Bilingual (Spanish) Job Type: Full-time Experience: * Payroll: 3 years Education: * High school or equivalent Language: * Spanish 19 hours ago - save job
