We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented college student to join our team for summer 2022. This is an exciting opportunity to obtain real-world work experience.

• The Supply Chain Intern (SCI) will work directly with senior buyers, planners, and schedulers to fully understand the core principles of quality, delivery, and cost.

• The SCI will identify commercial opportunities by developing and preparing specific Request for Quotations (RFQ); this includes pulling drawings, understanding the commodity/manufacture process, homogenizing parts into bid baskets, soliciting suppliers to bid, outlining the quote process and procedure, then analyzing the results and recommending a course of action.

• The SCI will experience supply service concerns with factory support through analysis of line-impact reports, identifying trends by a supplier, part, or line; the focus would be to shadow senior resources management of underperforming suppliers or processes through actions and recovery plans.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

• US Citizen or Permanent Resident

• COVID-19 vaccines will be required for all newly hired Carrier U.S. Salaried employees

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Self-driven and proactive

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels

• Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects

EDUCATION

• Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree program, majoring in Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, or related field of study

• GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.0 GPA

• Relevant coursework or previous internships preferred
