Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for all stages of UX design process—from creating user flows and wireframes to building user interface mockups and prototypes— and work closely with Product Management and Engineering.
• Generate new features ideas and overall strategy, defining the roadmap.
• Create artifacts/prototypes/specs that enable developers to implement new features efficiently.
• Test designs and iterate on interaction designs based on user feedback or newly discovered opportunities for enhancement.
• Provide patterns, best practices, and guidance on interaction/visual design for different devices and input methods.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (HCI, Graphic Design, BFA, Interaction Design, etc.)
• Minimum 3 years hands-on digital visual design experience, shipping apps and software within an agile team environment. Professional experience must be demonstrated by a portfolio of prior work.
• Experience with the entire product development process, from concept to release.
• Experience creating detailed interactive design specs and prototypes using Sketch, Figma, Invision, Flinto, Principle, Adobe XD, Framer, etc.
• Experience with both iOS and Android; understand how to leverage the best parts of Material Design and Human Interface Guidelines for each mobile platform.
• Fluent with typography, color theory, pixel independent design, design systems, accessibility design and localization.
• Ability to thrive with minimal direction, ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Experience working with and contributing to design systems.
• Ability to articulate design intent: rationalize proposals with data and communicate complex ideas to the team and stakeholders.
