    In the role of Client Service Representative, you will be the primary contact responsible for our clients and giving them phone and email support, while building lasting relationships with them.     ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • This position is primarily responsible for providing telephone customer support and account management services by performing the following duties.
    • Build and maintain strong customer relationships with assigned accounts.
    • Answer calls, questions and recommend corrective actions to address customer issues.
    • Become the trusted advisor to key decision makers by establishing and developing close business relationships.
    • Manage tactical issues, such as, order changes, backorders, order downloads, inventory management and shipment issues between IFS and assigned customers
    • Enter orders into IFS operating system as required by customer.
    • Enter new customer data, maintain each customers product or service offering in the IFS operating system.
    • Conduct regular business reviews with assigned accounts.
    • Prepares reports as required by each customer.
    • Other duties as may be assigned.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

    • Associate or bachelor's degree received or in progress preferred
    • Three years of experience in a customer service environment preferred but not required.

    • Written Communications- Communicate promptly and accurately to customers requests

    • Customer Service - Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; Responds promptly to customer needs; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitments.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

    • Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50lbs. 
    • Specific vision abilities may be required for this role.  These abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, as well as good depth perception.
    • Must have the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.  Expectation is at least two hours straight, four times in an eight-hour day.
    • You will need to be able to twist, bend, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and crouch on a frequent basis.
    • Repetitive movements are a big part of our environment, so you will need to be able to use your hands and feet simultaneously.
    • This is a warehouse environment, so it consists of occasional extreme temperature shifts ranging from very cold to very hot.
    • If you are operating Industrial Lift Equipment, you will need to be able to get on and off the equipment on a regular basis.  Certain equipment may expose you to heights as well.
    • There can be exposure to loud noises and dust.
    • You will have regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and moving equipment.
