Position Summary
Accountant needed for a contract role with the potential for permanent hire.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day operations of the accounting department
• Assist with month end financial close processes, including journal entry processing and completion of assigned closing tasks
• Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
• Track and maintain fixed asset & depreciation schedules across all entities; fixed assets include those purchased and created in-house
• Assists in payment and reconciliation of payroll tax
• Prepare weekly reports for company wide distribution
• Assists the audit process by completing requested schedules and working closely with external audit personnel during the annual audit
• Collaborate with other colleagues in process automation including accounts payable, financial reporting, metrics tracking, and other processes as needed
• Responsible for data analysis. prepaid analysis and job cost analysis

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance and 5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong analytical skills and technical accounting knowledge
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented Accounting department
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Desire for continuous improvement and process automation
• ERP Implementation is a plus
• NetSuite experience is a plus
