Job Overview Internship Program Overview TE Connectivitys internship program is designed to provide interns with real world experience to enhance classroom knowledge. Uniquely crafted assignments and meaningful projects provide interns with a challenging 1012 week experience. Interns will gain exposure to senior leadership and be given professional development opportunities. At the end of the summer, interns will be provided the opportunity to pursue full-time placement within TE Connectivity. Responsibilities & Qualifications Working in the Middletown PA Corporate Technology Materials group, the successful candidate will contribute to new 3D polymer materials and process developments. They will be expected to: - Be familiar with relevant aspects of polymer engineering, materials or simulation approaches. - Support evaluations of process capabilities and material properties - Document findings in Powerpoint / Word - Contribute to ideation for development projects. - Share project findings in team presentations Responsibilities & Qualifications: The candidate should: - Be familiar with materials processing / characterization operations - Have be able to maintain effective project documentation - Be capable of working collaboratively within a team environment - Be a 3rd/4th year or Graduate student in Chemistry / Materials Science - Have research experience applying polymer science / engineering / simulation methodologies, preferably with working knowledge of 3D printing processes - Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 in Major Competencies - Values: Integrity, Accountability,Teamwork, Innovation - Location: - Alternative Locations: Education Experience: Associate Degree (High School +2 years) Travel: None - Job Segment: Engineer, Developer, Administrative Assistant, Chemical Engineer, Web Design, Engineering, Technology, Administrative, Creative
