  • Responsibilities

    Proofread all jobs and performs quality checks for accuracy of content and style, image position and overall composition.  Ensures job instructions meet client expectations.  Use available systems to digitally check documents for accuracy. Receives, prepares copy for initial production stages and performs quality auditing, sampling and inspections as assigned. Cross trains in various skill sets as assigned and meets all internal tracking requirements. Demonstrate a mastery level of knowledge in Continuity Check, Job Completion and Conversion.  Communicate professionally with CSR's and interpret CSR instructions and copy.  Ability to mentor and perform classroom and on-the-job training.

    Required Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in English or related field or equivalent work experience
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including expert-level knowledge of the English language, including grammar, spelling and punctuation
    • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn other core applications
    • Proven ability to perform complex work in a timely manner and meet strict deadlines
    • Exceptional attention to detail
    • Ability to interact with client and team members in a professional and respectful manner at all times

    PREFERRED SKILLS

    • Familiarity with legal terminology and a variety of document formats used in legal work
    • Knowledge of currently used legal writing styles and citation protocols (The Chicago Manual of Style, The Bluebook and the California Style Manual)
