How Do You Fit In? Reporting into the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) team, the Employee Relations Specialist is responsible for delivering employee relations counseling and support to managers and employees of TechStyle. This role will be focusing on but not limited to performance, conflict resolution, and resolving employee concerns and complaints. Employee Relations Specialist provides guidance in regard to the interpretation of policy to minimize potential adverse impact of lawsuits and compliance issues. This position plays a strategic role to ensure our values are represented in our actions every day. This position will report to the Sr. Director, Business Partner. Responsibilities: * Partner with the HRBPs to address and remediate allegations of serious misconduct. This includes conducting witness interviews, preparing reports, making recommendations for remedial measures and ensuring proper record keeping * Manage the employee handbook, and ensure that company-wide practices align with company culture * Assists in conducting exit interviews and identify exit trends * Work closely the HRBPs to conduct (or as appropriate, lead) investigations into all charges of harassment and discrimination * Identify employee relations trends and recommend solutions * Work with outside counsel to ensure that policies and practices comply with all applicable laws, and when necessary investigate and address employee concerns * Assist with confidential investigations of employee complaints by researching and providing relevant information and documenting complaints in accordance with company guidelines. Provide recommendations for appropriate resolution of investigations. * Working with our internal stakeholders (The People Team at HQ, our Fulfillment Centers in Kentucky and other remote US locations) as our subject matter expert on all things compliance and process related to develop and maintain accurate, consistent and compliant processes and operational procedures for The People Team on requirements for work authorization, global policy development, time sensitive audits, periodic FLSA reviews, adherence to applicable state overtime and minimum wage laws, HIPAA related processes, employer legal postings and personnel files. * Keeps abreast of changing legal and regulatory requirements that impact our operations, hiring and termination practices, training, compensation, benefits and record keeping practices. Assess risk and work alongside other internal departments/business units to appropriately remedy them. * Analyzes company compensation practices in relation to government wage and hour regulations, recommends changes as appropriate * Liaise with Talent Acquisition to ensure compliance with laws and regulation in the recruitment process * Create regular updates to elevate People Team Knowledge of ongoing compliance and legal trends and changes * Manage vendor relationships and have an active role in auditing, reviewing and making recommendation for new vendor relationships Required Skills: * Bachelors Degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field * 3+ years of professional experience with demonstrated success in key responsibilities for this role * Be a creative partner and problem solver with a passion for Employee Relations * Ability to effectively engage with all levels of from the organization, from the executive level of the organization to our hourly fulfillment center employees. * Strong persuasion and conflict resolution skills required * Experience identifying and addressing performance management and other employee relations issues * Ability to leverage communication and interpersonal skills to successfully establish and maintain professional relationships and work effectively with all levels of management * Deep understanding of HR compliance and current regulations; working knowledge of employment and federal/ state labor laws (EEO, wage and hour, employee benefits, leave policies and practices) * Experience conducting investigations with empathy, tact, and confidentiality * Good problem solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy * Experience with regulatory audits on employment related matters preferred * Ability to review a process and identify and implement improvements * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) * Ability to work in a diverse, fast paced but rewarding environment TechStyle is an Equal Opportunity Employer: M/F/PV/D (minority, female, protected veteran, disability) Posted 2 Days AgoFull timeR1692 Why Work for Us?nbsp; Mission: To Reimagine the global fashion business by creating the worlds most innovative and admired fashion company.
