ID: -73127 -Office Location: -NA-US-CA-Fremont-45500 Fremont Blvd -Job Shift: -Job Type: -Employee -Description -The Role End of Line Technicians must have the ability to work with various teams in assembly including engineering, quality, and suppliers across a wide variety of issues/ corrective actions identified in production, testing and inspection. End of Line Technicians work in a manufacturing environment doing rework/repairs on vehicles going through the production line or coming off the production line. Responsibilities -Performs work in the diagnosis, repair, and service of Tesla electric vehicles just manufactured in our Fremont factory. -Performs diagnosis, and repair on electric power train systems, electrical systems, steering, suspension and even body work on newly manufactured Tesla Model S and X. -Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools. -Perform equipment inspections, adjustments and certifications. -Maintain records of time and materials. -Reports assembly and manufacturing anomalies requiring repeated repair. -Order shop supplies and parts. -Perform other related duties as assigned. -Knowledge of: Methods, techniques, parts, tools and materials used in the maintenance and repair of vehicles. Operation and maintenance of a wide variety of hand power tools, shop tools, and automotive and electrical test equipment. Requirements -2+ years experience in automotive diagnosis, servicing, and repair techniques of automobiles (may be substituted for experience in General Assembly at Tesla). -Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record. -Perform detailed daily record keeping and reporting. -Handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines. -Work in a team-based environment and achieve common goals. -High School Diploma or equivalent. -Associate Degree or Certificate in Automotive Technology or the equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability.
