Managers Input * Uses Systems and Applications and Process (SAP) within the confines of Supply Chain Management Authority to: * Maintain records and control of property owned by the government. * Conducts inventories: arranges disposal of obsolete or no longer required material and property * Administer property control to ensure continual accountability of government property and assets and tracks the issuance of materials for a variety of contractor provided projects, operations, and maintenance in accordance with applicable government regulations. * Maintain property accountability records, determines the condition, and arranges the disposal of surplus or obsolete material or equipment. * Contacts potential users and negotiates/reconciles property transfers as required. * Conducts property audits, develops, recommends and implements property administration policies to create efficiencies. * Provides guidance on SAP requirements and limitations as the relate to on-going operations and property accountability. * Coordinate with a variety of tradesman to investigate potential loss, reconcile property records as required and report discrepancies in accountability. * Maintain auditable records of government owned property located at the facility and associated vendor/subcontractor facilities. * Performs self-assessment audits as required to ensure compliance with published procedures.
