Candidate will clean and care for buildings and facilities in order to ensure they are maintained in a safe and healthy manner. This work is performed within a typical office building setting to include offices, cubical furniture, conference rooms, elevators, stairwells, restrooms and general common areas. The employee observes normal safety precautions, to include the wearing or use of safety equipment while conducting custodial activities. Position Responsibilities: - Use customer service skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, officials and all members of the general public - Responsible for the collection of trash & recycling located throughout the facility and placed in the appropriate outside disposal receptacles - Clean offices, conference rooms and general common areas - Vacuum all carpeted areas - Dust all furniture and fixtures as required - Clean and disinfect restroom floors, toilets, toilet seats, urinals, and fixtures - Clean mirrors/glass/windows - Replenish paper products and soap as needed - Clean, disinfect and polish drinking/ water fountain - Wash all finger marks from walls, doors, hardware, and glass - Clean break room sinks/counters/microwaves - Maintain an adequate supply of cleaning materials and supplies - Restock materials and supplies - Perform other related duties as required - Meet the physical requirements of the job, to include constant standing and walking; frequent bending at the waist, twisting, pushing/pulling, and occasional kneeling; and lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds Boeing is the world's largest aerospace company and leading manufacturer of commercial airplanes and defense, space and security systems. Qualifications This position requires an active (or ability to obtain) US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): - Ability to obtain a Top Secret, Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) with a Counterintelligence Polygraph U.S. Security Clearance post-start - Minimum 1 year custodial/janitorial experience - Must be able to perform frequent lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying up to 35 pounds, constant standing and walking; frequent bending at the waist, twisting and occasional kneeling PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): - A current active Top Secret, Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) with a Counterintelligence Polygraph U.S. Security Clearance - Experience with Microsoft Office Tools to include Word and Excel - Experience with the use of Material Data Safety Sheets (MSDS) TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED and typically 1 or more years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
