Position Responsibilities: - Be a trusted technical adviser to Product Management team and solve complex Cloud Infrastructure and Networking challenges - Create and deliver Cloud best practices and recommendations - Lead requirements gathering, analysis and solution development for cloud-based solutions based on Product Management team needs - Architect, design and implement plans for deploying complex application workloads on cloud platform - Architect highly available, backup, and disaster recovery solutions - Partner with product managers, functional architects, systems specialists and other technical resources - Lead projects, on-location and remotely, in a hands-on role driving cloud migration/adoption from inception to production - Mentor and provide technical oversight and guidance to implementation teams while working in a coordinated manner to deliver and deploy the designed architecture - Provide cloud technical expertise for POCs, drafting RFP responses, SOW creation etc., in support of the overall sales life-cycle and consulting engagement process - Provide Cloud thought leadership through working engagements as needed - Create reference architectures, pre-sales, and technical collateral - Drive discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management and risk mitigation - Think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges - Provide deep hands-on experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale or current hands on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience - Work within software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies as required - Integration of cloud services with on premise technologies (eg. Qualifications Typical Education and Experience: Technical bachelor's degree and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 12 or more years' or a PhD degree with typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
