TITLE Intern/Co-op, Fall Engineer LOCATION Toledo, Ohio REPORTS TO Plant Engineer KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Lead one or more projects that will be started and completed within the semester * Conduct tests to evaluate potential processing changes, including: design of experiments, implementation, and making recommendations * Research process equipment, including: obtaining quotes, coordinating product trials, and making recommendations for purchase * Write manufacturing specifications and procedures * Provide engineering support to other departments * Present to the department periodically and at the end of the internship SELECTION CRITERIA Education * Junior status pursuing a degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or Food Process Engineering * Grade point average must be a minimum of 3.0 cumulative Other * Comfortable working in both laboratory, pilot plant and manufacturing environments * Desire to work on projects with a Food Science focus * Leadership skills * Good analytical skills with attention to detail * Strong oral and written communication abilities * Ability and desire to work in a team environment * Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications * Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the business * Must be willing to relocate upon graduation Posted 3 Days AgoFull time102490 The J.M.
