Undergraduate Technical Intern Job Summary: Trimble is looking for a smart, creative mechanical engineering intern to join our engineering team in Dayton, Ohio. Tasks will involve working with our Pro-E solid modeling software to create components for new product prototypes in the area of laser layout. This candidate will work closely with a mentor to move these efforts forward to the testing phase where he will also provide support. Measures of Success: Provide solid models and output files to interface with the 3D printer for creation of early parts for test. Provide data from testing to show performance level of current configurations. Present the test data taken in an understandable and readable method. Skills & Experience Required: Pro-E or Solidworks solid Modeler CAD software. Use of Excel Spreadsheet for data presentation Previous exposure to Mathcad, Smath or Matlab analysis software is a plus.
