  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES include the following:

    • Follow all processes and procedures associated with the Tyler Union Safety Management Program. Advise management of any deviations from this program.
    • Wears appropriate PPE which may include fall protection, respiratory protection, hearing protection, foot, hand, head and eye protection.
    • Proactively promotes The McWane Way principles.
    • Maintain accurate CMMS records for assets, maintenance schedules, bills of materials, and safety procedures.
    • Assist the PM Reliability Supervisor in developing and updating PM strategies and schedules.
    • Monitor completion of work orders and ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities.
    • Generate and distribute performance reports (PM compliance, backlog, downtime trends, etc.).
    • Coordinate with the storeroom and purchasing teams to link parts usage with maintenance work.
    • Review and close out completed work orders and identify those requiring follow-up or review.
    • Train maintenance users and supervisors on proper CMMS usage and procedures.
    • Assist with audits and continuous improvement initiatives related to maintenance execution.

    Ensure availability of equipment manuals, parts lists, and job plan documents within the CMMS.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    • High school diploma or GED required, associate’s or technical degree preferred.
    • Two years’ experience working in a maintenance or inventory control setting, preferably with CMMS exposure.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS platforms.
