    PLEASE NOTE:  THIS IS A TEMPORARY POSITION

     

    PURPOSE OF POSITION: 

    This position will be responsible for compiling, analyzing, and reporting operating results to North America management. This role, will also support processes & procedures to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures, and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX).

    ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    • Prepares and records assigned journal entries for monthly closing.
    • Reconciles specified general ledger accounts.
    • Reviews for accuracy and corrects posting entries.
    • Manages accounting records and files, including journal vouchers, cash payments, and cash requirements.
    • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting.
    • Maintains an orderly accounting filing system.
    • Participates in monthly and annual closing as required.
    • Performs other accounting/financial duties as requested.

     

     MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIRED:

    • BA or BS in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience preferred.
    • Minimum 2-5 years of accounting experience in an ERP preferred.
    • Strong GAAP understanding
    • Excellent organizational skills.
    • Strong collaboration and partnering skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel.
    • Strong interpersonal/communication skills.
    • Problem solving, attention to detail and results oriented.
    • Cost accounting experience preferred.
    • Experience with JE Edwards preferred.
    • CMA preferred.

    Required Skills

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering or related field is preferred but not required. Equivalent work experience in a similar position is acceptable in lieu of degree.
    • Broad and strong technical knowledge in one or more of the following areas: electronic prepress, sheetfed offset printing, digital printing, or binding areas.
    • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage people and direct work activities.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization are required.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in computer systems is required including: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and email systems).  Access is a plus. Web-based program experience a plus. Demonstrated comfort and ability to learn and leverage new systems a plus.
    • Bias for process focus and the demonstrated ability to drive process improvement.  Must have demonstrated flexibility to multi-task and shift focus and re-prioritize as the situation dictates.
    • Must have demonstrated ability to proactively approach problems and drive for results.
