JOB DESCRIPTION: Put your classroom studies into practice in the real world and gain the experience to help determine your journey after graduation. At GAF, we’ll make sure you get going on your very first day with a comprehensive orientation into our company. In our program you will have the opportunity to own your own projects, participate in meetings, and work cross-functionally with other departments. GAF is looking for a UI/UX Developer Intern. The ideal candidate for this role is majoring in Science with a focus on Technology/Engineering/Business Administration. The intern would be responsible for partnering with the IT and Marketing departments to perform UI/UX related activities on GAF’s Digital sites, including www.GAF.com, and others.

JOB DUTIES:

• Learn from the Senior UI/UX Designers about the GAF UI/UX Design Standards and Best Practices and tools we use

• Partner with the Product Owners and Agile teams to ensure the development of world-class websites, portals, and mobile applications.

• Design of the wireframes for desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms to visually depict screen flow, navigation, and interaction for optimal user experience.
