  • Responsibilities

     Check quality of the lids from trimpress to lids being put in final packing.

     Remove lids from trimpress and place on conveyor.

     Assist if line is down.

     Make up corrugation for finished product and that lids are packed into proper corrugation.

     Place finished product on proper pallets.

     Assist in giving breaks; Keep work area clean; Know all safety rules, regulations, and company policies.

     Perform other duties assigned by plant manager, manager, supervisor, operator, or lead packer.

     

     

    Required Skills

    High school not required; No prior experience necessary.

     Use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.

     Reach with hands and arms; Good hand-eye coordination is essential.

     Regularly lift and / or move up to 20 pounds.

     Regularly push or pull a pallet.

     Specific vision abilities required by this job includes: close vision, distance vision, and normal color vision.

     Regularly required to stand for long periods.

     Work near moving mechanical parts.

      PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

     Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.

     Write simple correspondence; Effectively present information in one on one and small group situations.

     Apply commonsense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.

     Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

     Add, subtract, and divide in all units of measure.

     Work near moving mechanical parts.
