    Electrical Control Design Engineer for highly customized packaging machinery.  These machines are some of the fastest packaging machines in the world with the fastest product changeovers in the industry.  Our customers are some of the most highly recognized, global, food and beverage brands in the world.  This position will include the design and development of machines controls using Siemens or Rockwell PLCs, Servos, HMIs, Hotmelt Glue systems and Cognex Vision Systems as well as supporting and troubleshooting machines in the field. 

    Is this the kind of work you enjoy?

    • Writing PLC and motion logic for machine controls.
    • Collaborating with mechanical engineers to bring motion, safety and control to machine mechanisms.
    • Working with the sales department to understand our customers’ electrical needs and selecting electrical components to match tight specifications.
    • Collaborating with the technicians that build and debug the machine to ensure flawless operation.
    • Communicating with electrical assemblers to create the most efficient design for controls and component layouts.
    • Collaborating with mechanical engineering to design motion controls.
    • Working with customers to understand and solve their problems through innovative design and field support.

    If this describes you, and you have the following qualifications, we want to connect!

    • Post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering, Electrical CAD Design, Controls of Automation, Robotics or another related field.
    • Senior-level experience with machine control design; design experience must include PLC, Servo Motion, Network Communications, HMIs, Electrical CAD and Hotmelt Glue Systems.
    • Senior-level experience with project management.
    • Expert design experience with PLC software, Motion software and Electrical CAD software.
    • Extensive experience with PDM, SAP, Vision or other data management systems.

    • Ability to educate patients on their unique oral health needs and desires.
    • Perform all hygiene clinical procedures to include prophy, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, sealants, fluoride, intra-oral camera
    • Communicate with doctor as to patients possible areas for restorative, periodontal and needs
    • Partner with the whole team to assist in whatever is required for an excellent patient experience
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to educate patients
    • An interest in growing and developing skills
