RESPONSIBILITIES: - Evaluate and improve ordering and replenishment processes - Review and improve material flow and storage to improve inventory accuracy - Create and implement Kanban replenishment for high volume part - Data integrity review to ensure Material Resource Planning (MRP) system has correct inputs - Work closely with operations to review improvements to the production lines based on missing/wrong or no materials to build units. Possible projects: - Returnable rack evaluation to ensure we have correct quantities, design and preventative maintenance program - Evaluation and modification of point of use requirements to reduce the amount of lost parts within the facility - Improve on supplier packaging to see if lower cost options or returnable packaging is a better option - Assistance in print on demand solutions and RFID/barcode scanning for material tracking and logistics Qualification: - Solid analytical skills and self-motivated - Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization - Willingness to work in a team environment - Handle multiple activities simultaneously and ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks - Oracle supply chain applications experience a huge plus - Proficient user of Microsoft Office Tools: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Additional Skills include: - Excellent written and verbal communication - Organizational and interpersonal skills are required - Writing and presenting technical information - The ability to thrive in a fast-paced changing environment is essential for success in this position Education: - Undergraduate or graduate business student preferably pursuing major in Supply Chain Management United Technologies Corporation is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
