CDS is responsible for all aspects of Pratt & Whitney engine control and diagnostic system development including requirements analysis & definition, system & software architecture, algorithm design, and product software design, verification & validation.CDS is looking for engineering co-ops supporting the various product development activities within the organization. The engineering work in this group offers an excellent opportunity to provide leadership and technical work in a very dynamic and challenging environment.Job responsibilities will involve working closely with engineering staff in the design and development of control and diagnostic system hardware and/or software. The candidate selected for this opportunity will be responsible for performing one or more of the following activities: hardware/software design studies, requirements analysis, simulation analysis to develop control logic designs, documenting the designs, and testing the final software in a bench environment. Qualification: Student enrolled in a Bachelor degree program in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Computer or Software Engineering with class work in control systems, embedded systems & software or gas turbines. Education: Project work or an interest in analytical assignments and a good working knowledge of typical computer hardware and/or software applications.
