Specific responsibilities of this role include: -Delivery of development and qualification documentation to support the use of supplierdesigned parts in Collins systems. -Use of Standard Work Maps to progress the project through the phases of Preliminary Design(PDR), Detailed Design (CDR) and Verification and Validation. -Responsible to communicate and resolve technical issues between the supplier and Collins teammembers. Education / Certifications: Pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in any engineering discipline from an accredited institution. Experience/Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: -Must be pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in any engineering discipline from an accredited institution. -Must have GPA of 3.0 or higher -Must have completed 30 hours of college coursework Preferred Qualifications: -Familiarity with mechanical/electrical/manufacturing engineering concepts. -Excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary along with the ability to work in a team environment. -Working knowledge of Microsoft Products Nothing matters more to Collins Aerospace Systems than our strong ethical and safety commitments.
