As an Industrial Engineering Intern at UTC Aerospace Systems, you will be a part of a team that is driving operational excellence and lean transformation. This role will support projects relating to productivity improvements, capacity analysis, variation analysis, lean transformation, strategy development, and overall operating cost reductions. Responsibilities: -Analyzing, designing, and improving the cells/sites to increase or maintain output levels which align with customer demand -Developing and coaching lean and continuous improvement principles are at the core of this role so that business objectives are not only achieved but more importantly sustained -Success for this role means level loaded value streams, improved cycle times, reduced lead times, improved productivity, and reduced operating costs Qualification:Basic Qualifications: -Must have completed at least 30 hours of college coursework -Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 -Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related fieldPreferred Qualifications: -Minimum of 60 hours of college coursework completed (Junior status) Education:Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
