The Materials Intern position is highly unique in that it requires the candidate to work across multiple business functions to drive planning initiatives to improve inventory processes across E&CS Operations. Primary Responsibilities: -Managing customer metric inputs from business units that directly correlate to inventory management -Working with the business units to validate manufacturing demand on specific programs -Coordinating with manufacturing planning groups to support manufacturing production needs -Learn SAP material requirements planning skills as well as be involved in process improvement initiatives through our ACE program. -Prepare various materials for internal and external customer communications to be used on a weekly basis in senior management reviews. Qualification:Basic: -Must be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Business Management -Must have GPA of 3.0 -Must have completed 30 hours of college courseworkPreferred: -Strong communication and analytical skills -Above average skills on Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint and Excel) -Ability to manage input from multiple sources quickly and efficientlyNothing matters more to UTC Aerospace Systems than our strong ethical and safety commitments.
