As part of the Sensors & Integrated Systems (SIS) team, you'll help develop the next generation of more intelligent, more integrated and more reliable solutions that enhance aircraft safety and performance in the most rigorous flight conditions. This role is with the Electro-Mechanical Systems Electrical Engineering group. The group is responsible for the design, development, test, and certification of a wide range of products including Ice Detectors, Angle of Attack Sensors, Windshield Ice Protection Controllers and Rotor Ice Protection Systems. Primary Responsibilities: -Work with circuit modeling and simulation. -Demonstrate and develop hands-on lab skills. -Document results and generate test reports. -Be given the opportunity to exercise your abilities in any variety of electrical engineering disciplines and interests - analog, digital, power, EMI, test, verification/validation, programming, communications, field theory, etc. -Work with peer engineers to support their activities; demonstrating the ability to solicit, receive, and administer feedback. -Interact with other interns throughout the summer, gain a familiarity with the company, and develop an understanding of the operations and opportunities at UTC Aerospace Systems. This position will start in Summer 2019. Qualification: Basic Qualifications: -Must be pursuing a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering or related program from an accredited institution. -Must have GPA of 3.0 or higher -Must have completed 30 hours of college coursework Education:Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering or related program from an accredited institution. Nothing matters more to UTC Aerospace Systems than our strong ethical and safety commitments. As such, all U.S. positions require a background check, which may include a drug screen.
