Roles/Responsibilities of Cost Accounting Intern position include: -Perform required Sarbanes Oxley testing (including working inesoxsystem) -Support Contract Closeout activity for completed contracts with US Government -Support other control environment activities, e.g. Accounting Control Assessment (ACA) -Support Month End Financial Closeout -Support the Cost Accounting Group on ad-hoc tasks Qualification:Basic Qualifications: -Good written/verbal communication skills -Basic understanding of Microsoft Office (particularly Word and Excel) -Ability to focus on results - held accountable for completion of tasksPreferred Qualifications: -Strong analytical thinking (identify root causes, identify possible solutions) -Working understanding of Microsoft Access -Ability to anticipate short and long-term needs related to items being worked Education:Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance.
