Primary Responsibilities: -Support activities in preparation for new product introductions and in-service product support. -Identify issues and drive action in the development, planning, and assisting in the implementation of timely and effective corrective actions for field issues involving engine and control systems and products in both military and commercial applications. -Assist with driving special investigations internally and with partners, gather field data and assist in root cause analysis and corrective action plans and implementation. -Gather data (field reliability, operator use and maintenance), analysis, coordinating special investigations, product testing, strong customer and field service interface, and corrective action implementation. -Engage all aspects of engineering departments, suppliers, repair centers and worldwide airline operators. -Develop effective technical support solutions with strong ability to communicate at all levels (executive to technician). The Engine and Control Systems Service Engineering function acts as the "Voice of the Customer" for promoting positive change to our products and processes. Education: -Bachelors degree in engineering, minimum; BSME or BSEE preferred Due to federal regulation or contracting requirements, this position is only available to U.S. persons.
