Otis WHQ is looking for a finance intern to help us in two different areas: New Lease Standard Project Team Member -Assist with lease data extraction process and data analysis -Draft new general ledger account definitions and chart of accounts -Assist in the preparation of the worldwide training on new lease accounting -Provide support for various ad-hoc activities directly related to the lease accounting project Finance Transformation -Creating Quick Reference Guides for various financial processes and reports -Assisting manage the publication and translation of Quick Reference Guides -Tracking progress and reporting usage to management of Quick Reference Guides Qualification: Candidates must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and have working knowledge of Microsoft Software applications. Candidates should be self-starters and be able to work with minimal direction. They should be able to communicate a clear understanding of their subject matter, work in cross-functional teams, respect individual differences and welcome diverse thinking, and offer informed suggestions to improve processes. Candidates must be U.S. Citizens or have Permanent Resident status. Education:Summer 2018 internship opportunities are available for full-time undergraduate and graduate students working toward a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance or similar field of study.
