Primary Responsibilities: -Assist with the design and development of airborne video applications, software tools, test applications and/or embedded software. -Specific tasks will depend on current department and program needs and/or candidate skills. -Learning opportunities on software development for desktop, or embedded products (this may include independent research and implementation) -A chance to work with a talented group of experienced engineers who can mentor the candidate on best practices -Participate in individual and team development activities -A chance to learn about the aviation industryThis position is for Summer 2019. Qualification: Basic Qualifications: -Pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Cyber Security/or related degree from an accredited institution -Must have GPA of 3.0 or higher -Must have completed 30 hours of college coursework Preferred Qualifications: -Upon the start of the Internship Completed courses in software design, programming languages, data structures, cyber security -Cyber threat detection and/or equivalent relevant software and security classes -Good communication skills -Drive for results -Willing and eager to learn and apply new skills and embrace challenges Education: Pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Cyber Security/or related degree from an accredited institution Nothing matters more to UTC Aerospace Systems than our strong ethical and safety commitments.
