Laboratory Technician. The position will be located in Mills River, NC.
In this role, you will be responsible for testing of raw materials,
finished products and trial products according to specifications. Areas
of responsibility include practical testing, quality assurance and ISO
quality and environmental standards. nbsp;You will be maintaining
Statistical Process Control (SPC) records and conduct quality control

control testing of raw materials and finished products as well as other
tasks specified in the Quality System.. * Testing of new development
products in a laboratory scale and providing instructions for production
trials and testing of trial products. * Process control measurements and
Statistical Process Control records as dictated by quality management
system, including testing of second quality, customer returns and hold
materials. * Fulfilling all requirements associated with compliance to
quality certifications.nbsp; * Work to assure ISO 9000 and ISO 14000
certification and compliance. * Work closely with, and provide relevant
feedback to production personnel to assure run-ability, efficiency, and
quality of product. * Serve on project teams to serve end user products.
- Maintain appropriate documentation related to processes, performance,
etc., analyze as appropriate to determine and capitalize on best
practices.nbsp; Who you are:nbsp; * You have any combination of
education and experience equivalent to an Associates Degree in a
technical discipline and 1 year experience in a testing lab. nbsp; * You
have previous experience in paper converting, chemical coating or
adhesive industry a must. nbsp; * You are detail oriented and have
demonstrated logical problem-solving ability. nbsp; * You have excellent
communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively
on both technical and non-technical basis. * You are able to function
well as a member of a team. nbsp; * Previous project team experience
